After months of radio silence from Rockstar (not counting the delays), we have a flood of new information. Last week we got a new story trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2. The trailer paints a dark picture as we see scenes of Dutch Van der Linde and his gang a fighting for survival as lawmen hunt them down. Set in 1899 it is a prequel that takes place 12 years before the events of Red Dead Redemption and what we know so far is that it will follow Dutch’s gang as they begin to splinter, torn apart by ideology. The game will focus on new protagonist Arthur Morgan, but we see many familiar Red Dead characters including John Marston. We may finally learn how he got those scars.
Now we have 20 new screenshots from Red Dead Redemption 2. Aside from looking AMAZING they give us an idea of some of the activities we can look forward to in the upcoming game. We have shots of Arthur bow hunting, exploring, and plenty of gunplay. Check out the new screenshots below:
Rockstar will be posting more screenshots on their various social channels and promise more details about the story and special editions next month. Red Dead Redemption 2 will be available October 26th, for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
