Our stores have a wide variety of games from all kinds of genres: racing, sports, kids, shooters, fighting, and more. To find out whether or not a specific game is available, get in touch with your local PLAYlive by viewing its store webpage.
In most cases yes. We encourage our guests to link-up and play together! Keep in mind though, some games aren't as popular as others so your local store may not carry enough copies of that game for all of your guests. For most of the newer and more popular first person shooters we tend to carry a large quantity of those in case many guests want to play at once.
Pricing varies depending on how many seats you want, how long the party will last, and whether or not you want any party add-ons. Pricing information is available on your local PLAYlive's store webpage. Head over to our Locations page, find your store, and party pricing info can be found there.
There is no official minimum age requirement for our parties/events, however, we recommend our services for ages 7 and up. Your guests simply must be able to treat our equipment with care, be respectful of other guests in the store, and adhere to instructions given by staff. If your attendees are under 7 years of age, feel free to still get in touch with your local PLAYlive to find out if we'd be the right fit for your child's special day.
We allow guests to book parties months in advance, so the sooner you book your party/event, the more likely you will be able to get your desired time slot but we request at least 72 hours advance notice. If it's any sooner, call us right away because we might still be able squeeze you in!
Fees may be applied if you purchase optional add-ons OR if your event is booked to take place during peak hours (varies per store). For example, if you book your party in the middle of a busy Saturday (our busiest time typically), a peak fee will likely be applied. This is because we may have to limit our other guests playing in the store in order to make way for your party's guests. Call for details.
No. We'll be happy to host social events for you and your group as well!
Moving your event to a different time slot is allowed provided that you let us know at least 7 days prior to the original scheduled date and time of the party. If, for any reason, you must cancel your event, the deposit paid is non-refundable. Your fortified deposit may still be used towards a party in the future.
Notify the store you have booked your party with at least 2 hours in advance to the start of the party in order to avoid paying for excess stations. The reason for this time cut-off is because we must move or remove guests who may be sitting in gaming stations that will be later used for your party. If you need to downgrade your Private or After-Hours event to a standard party, please notify the store you booked with as soon as possible (at least 24 hours, though more notice is strongly preferred).
