PSVR bundles will start at $299.99 USD. You will save about $100 if you pick one up during the sale, even if you pick up one the new Skyrim VR bundle at $349.99 USD. If Skyrim doesn’t interest you, the Gran Turismo bundle will also retail for $299.99; although, if you are thinking of adding VR to your wishlist the Skyrim bundle is a better deal because it also includes PlayStation Move motion controllers.
VR has made a lot of strides in 2017, as major developers like Ubisoft and Bethesda are creating more than just mini-games for the platform. Bethesda is putting out unique VR versions for a number of fan favorites such as Doom VR, Fall Out 4, and of course Skyrim. Games such as Star Trek Bridge Crew, Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes, and Moss are just a handful of new games increasing the value of the PSVR and there are more to come in 2018.
The basic PS4 with a 1TB HD will be available for $199.99 USD. Currently, you can pick up that system for $299.99 bundled with a new game like Battlefront II or Call of Duty: WWII. Dual Shock 4 controllers will be on sale for $39.99 USD and the PlayStation store will offer big discounts on games all week long. So far Sony has not revealed precise pricing but they promise up to 40% off on the “hottest titles” for PS Plus Plus members.
If you’re a PlayStation Plus member, you’ll also get exclusive early access to the PlayStation Store Black Friday Sale starting on November 17. Even if you’re not a PS Plus member, you still can take advantage of the Black Friday deals November 21 through 8 am PST November 28.
Similar to Microsoft’s Black Friday Sale there is no mention of the company’s newest console the PS4 Pro which currently retails for $399.99 USD. That doesn’t mean you won’t be able to find a good deal if you are looking for a new console to match your new 4K TV, but don’t expect one.
