The longer you stay in an active 4 star or higher pursuit the better. Your time is measured once you get to a 4 star pursuit and ends when you are killed or escape the pursuit. A PLAYlive profile must be used, however there is no restrictions on type of car ( semi-trucks or armored vehicles are banned). No taking advantages of any game glitches.

What is the PLAYlive Leaderboards Platform?

This online platform allows people in real life to compete against one another and be ranked based on the scores they achieve. These players are displayed in tables called "Leaderboards" where they're given a rank and related data is displayed.

What is a Leaderboard?

A leaderboard is simply a table that shows how players compared to one another based on the scores they achieved. Each unique leaderboard is given "Statistics" that make up the table's columns.

What is a Statistic?

A statistic is a piece of data that a leaderboard collects. It shows up in a leaderboard as one of the columns on display which shows a specific collected piece of data. For example, a leaderboard that ranks players against one another who have raced around a specific race track could have statistics like "Fastest Lap", "Car Used", "Crashes", "Assists", and so on. They're basically kind of data we need to collect when getting a score from a person who has competed.

What is an Event?

An event is a special day or time period that a store dictates where players can compete during that specific time so they can be ranked against each other in just that time span. Events can be a single "High Score Night", an ongoing League, or even a Tournament. Events help organize scores so they can be filtered and ranked against others who have competed in that same event.

How do I participate?

To compete against other gamers to see who's the best, just stop into your nearest PLAYlive store and ask to compete in one of the available leaderboards. The store's staff will help you out with the rest. Sometimes stores hold special events where you can only compete in one specific leaderboard for a limited time, so make sure to check if the leaderboard you want to participate in is available prior to playing.

I did something amazing at my house, can I submit that score to a leaderboard?

Unfortunately no. We require that all submitted scores are made inside of a PLAYlive so we can make sure that you're not cheating. Even if you have a picture of the TV with your score on it, we can't be sure you didn't manipulate that picture or use a modified controller to get that score. It helps us make sure all scores we have on display are accurate and are earned legitimately.
